Our 245-room hotel opened in October 1999 and is housed in a renovated 1920’s historic bank building. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the building was designed in an Italian Romanesque Revival style. The interior features original marble and bronze teller cages, arched clerestory windows, original painted ceilings, and circular antique chandeliers. Located in the heart of downtown San Diego we are adjacent to House of Blues, the historic Gaslamp Quarter, and within walking distance to over 100 of San Diego ’s finest restaurants. Driving Directions from the Airport: Follow signs to downtown and take Harbor Drive East Take Harbor Drive to Ash and turn left. Take Ash to Kettner and turn right. Go to A Street  and turn left. Proceed to 6th Avenue and take a right. The hotel is located on the corner of 6th and Broadway.
