The Nomads Boys Under 14’s became Champions of FWR League 2012 this past weekend April 15th 2012. This was to cap their Championship titles from Dallas Cup, Surf Cup in recent months. The boys receive an automatic birth in Snickers National Cup Regionals held in AZ June 18th-24th 2012.

The Nomads Soccer club recently combined their 3 Under 14 teams into 2 teams prior to National Cup and the Far West Regional league beginning. Both squads are looking really good "said David Armstrong Head Coach of the Boys youngers program"

A collective effort by the coaching staff is paying off on the field, the club and coaching staff are really excited about the prospects for the future with the 97s-98s group and a National title is certainly something to target this year.

The squads focus will now move towards preparing for National Cup Regionals in June which will include attending the prestigous Nike World Championship in May 2012 and competing in National Cup.

It is expected that a core group of these boys will graduate into the US Soccer Development Academy this July. The group has already seen Luca Del La Torre, Joe Gallardo, Alexis Velela receive call ups from the U14 National Team and the players recently attended a full week National camp with coach Hugo Perez.
