National/Club Avila has earned nine international caps with the United State Under-17 National, appearing in 15 total matches, more than any other player from the ’87 Boys class...Helped lead the U.S. to the finals of the Ballymena International Tournament held in Northern Ireland, which he regards as his most memorable moment in sports...Also participated in Mondial Minimes Montaigu Vendee Tournament held in France with the U-17’s...Played in a number of matches against Major League Soccer teams, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and Columbus...Netted the game-tying goal in a friendly match against the San Jose Earthquakes...
At the club level he played for the Nomads, helping them to a U.S. Club Soccer National Championship, Disney Showcase tourney championship, and Coast Premier League regular season title.
High School Spent his final two years of high school at the Edison Academy in Bradenton, Florida to train with the United States Under-17 National Team...Prior to joining the Residency Program, Avila attended La Costa Canyon High School in Encinitas, California...He led La Costa Canyon to the Avocado League title and a CIF Division I Finals berth as a sophomore...Named the Avocado League MVP that same year.

"I am going to make a big impact on the team as a third forward while continuing to develop as a player. And I am going to help the team win the NCAA Championship that we deserve."
